Officer Rene L. Forcier

Officer Forcier was deeply committed to community service. He was an Eagle Scout and volunteered with Club Scout Pack 463 in Dunbarton. Rene was an Army National Guard Veteran and was a Master Mason with Bible Lodge 27 and a member of the Bektash Shriners. Rene served the community as a volunteer firefighter and as a member of the board of selectman. His true service passion was helping fellow community members as a part time Dunbarton police officer. Rene served as a police officer from 1997 through 2008. On November 11th, 2008, Rene passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. His wife and two sons survive him. Throughout his courageous battle with cancer, Rene served as an inspiration of strength and determination to many of us. He is sorely missed.
